Dog's make the best cuddle buddies!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name's Caleb and I would be happy to keep your dog company for just one night or up to two weeks or longer! I grew up with a dog, then started fostering them for a local no-kill rescue shelter. I have attended training and obedience classes before, so I can even work with your dog while you're away on any behavioral issues they may have or standard commands they are still struggling with. Typically, I would take them for a morning walk to make sure they get do their business and to ensure they get some exercise. Next, I would feed and water them and probably cuddle on the couch or floor (whichever you allow) and watch TV afterwards, unless you want us to work on tricks or commands of course. Then we would probably venture out into town or into nature to explore, meet new people and other dogs (if they are people/dog friendly) and experience new sights, sounds, and of course smells! Next, we would probably have some nap time in the afternoon. Finally we would go for an evening sniff and stroll before bedding down for the night. The following morning we'd go for a jog (if they are healthy enough and enjoy it) or a walk and play in the park or yard. Eventually, I would leave them with breakfast and a play toy to keep them occupied until you come home. I look forward to helping keep your puppy or dog happy and healthy! :) Why I love dog sitting I grew up with a Labrador Retriever named Bud (after the beer) who was a neighbor's dog until we got our own lab mix named Ginger after the color of her coat. For a few years I lived in places that didn't allow pets, but as soon as I did, I began to foster dogs of PAWS of Philly. There i fostered and found a forever home for a Shepard mix named Ace with hip dysplasia and a Pitt Bull mix named Diamond who loved to lounge around in between visits to the dog park to play with her friends. My experience administering medication Yes, I can give pills and injections. I am a Certified Phlebotomist (for humans at least). I am also certified in First Aid and CPR (for humans) and have been an first responder in emergency situations, so I can be trusted to keep a clam and cool head and take the appropriate action quickly. And yes i can give dogs and cats pills and liquid medications.
