I am definitely the definition of a dog person. Growing up, I cannot remember a time when we did not have at least two dogs in our household, including Bernese mountain dogs, golden retrievers (both English and American), and Labrador retrievers. Once I got to college, I joined an amazing club called 4 Paws for Ability, where as students, we had the opportunity to foster and train service dogs in training (SDITs). I was in the club for 4 years and took my foster pups everywhere with me, including to class, running errands, hiking, etc. We just moved into a new house and naturally we adopted a pup to come with us! Porter is a golden retriever puppy and we can wait to show him around the neighborhood!
