walking and full service grooming!
Pet care experience
I am a stay at home mom while my pet groom shop is being constructed. I have owned my own dog walking and boarding company in the past (on foot in small groups in San Francisco) before becoming a full time dog and cat groomer. I'm comfortable traveling around Alameda to walk your pup on a slow meander or a fast paced neighborhood romp. I'm available weekdays all day. I will have my 6 month old in his stroller along with doggie water and snacks for our adventures. Sometimes you may even see me out walking my three welsh terriers around the island! I have great pack management skills and am comfortable walking multiple pups. I can also groom your dog while you are at work!

Information Caitlyn S. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. I prefer dogs that don't pull and are behaved on leash. I do have experience with reactive dogs and can do some basic training but I do require that the dog isn't afraid of strollers or wheels. I do not plan on letting dogs interact with the baby in the stroller but they will have to walk along side. I find that dogs take that on as their job to protect the stroller and seem to enjoy walking with the baby.
A typical day
I like to walk dogs around their neighborhoods but try to mix it up and go different routes each time. There's always a lot to explore in our own backyards! I am also a proponent of training while walking. I have three terriers I walk at the same time along with a stroller. This requires a lot of patience and attention. My dogs learn all sorts of commands to stay safe on walks and they go home tired and satisfied.
