I have been the person my friends and family call on to watch their pets while they’re away for as long as I can remember. I definitely have the reputation of being an animal lover in my circle and my friends know that they can trust me to properly care for their furbabies in the same way that they would. I have extended this passion for pet care into my professional life and am so happy I’ve found a way to spend more time with animals, as being around dogs and cats truly makes me happy. People say that it’s not work if you love your job and I am living proof of this statement! The thing I love the most about dogs is how they teach us to love unconditionally and appreciate the little things in life. They are a constant reminder to live in this way—opening up my home to pups has had a profound impact on my happiness and has shown me how to live a life of gratitude. In addition professional pet care, I also am the proud mama of a 10 month old German Shepherd, Pua, named after the Disney character from Moana. She loves other dogs and will help me keep your pup happy and entertained while you are away! From Pomeranians to Saint Bernard’s, I have experience caring for all types of pups, big and small, active and lazy, nervous and relaxed. With your permission, I’d love to share a treat with your dog and let them get to know me on their own terms, slowly earning their trust while they get to know my smell and personality. I then find out what they like to do and we will spend most of our time doing just that! I work part-time, Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., which means the rest of my schedule is open and ready to suit your needs! I am also able to adjust my schedule if you need. My commute is only five minutes and I am easily able to walk the dogs three times a day.
