Pet care experience
I'm BFF with my border collie, Lucky, and have been around dogs my whole life. We go on multiple walks a day in addition to playing games and working on skills at home. Providing a safe, caring environment for any pup is my #1 priority. I do best with working dogs who are well-trained and need 2-3 exercise sessions a day. I can administer medication. Note that dogs are not allowed on furniture at our house. I prefer doing a meet-up leading up to the stay.

Cait cares for dogs really well! She exercises them efficiently and has tender loving kindness and patience towards them. She understand enrichment and rest for pups she cares for!
Cait is an amazing dog owner that has a deep love for all animals. She always provides the utmost care and attention to any animals that she watches. She is very active so you know your pet will get plenty of play and exercise. You will have no concerns or worries with Cait, she is very responsible and is very attentive and will be returning a very happy and well taken care of pet back to you.

I have a small, fenced patio and front yard, which is convenient for taking pups out for bathroom breaks or quick play sessions. For longer exercise breaks, we typically go for 30 minute walks or runs around the neighbourhood, which can include the park and stadium. We prefer dogs who are trained off-leash, as we run and play frisbee with our dog off-leash at the stadium on their lawn. We have a pretty established routine for longer exercise sessions: before work; lunchtime; after work. I typically don't frequent dog parks and prefer to play/run in quieter areas. If your pup needs some space or time away from my pup, I have a spare room (or they can chill with me while I work, while I keep my pup downstairs).

Please let me know if your dog has any issues whatsoever with other dogs, or any sensitivities to anything (does anything "trigger" them?). I'll need an eating schedule (including amounts) and also an indication of what their typical routine is. I also need to know if they're off-leash trained and listen to commands.
A typical day
We'll get lots of exercise - at least 3 long walks/exercise sessions outside (with my pup, too). We'll also be active at home for some mental stimulation. My pup loves doing "cheese hunts" (with very small amounts of cheese) and playing "tug" and bouncing a balloon ("keep up") off her nose.

Availability
I currently work full-time (Monday thru Friday, 9-5) but have a fairly flexible schedule which allows me to take walks throughout the day. Every weekend, my husband and I try to head to the foothills or mountains for a nice hike. We're very active people, so taking care of pups falls in line with that. (Plus, we don't have children, so we really love spoiling our pup and other pups!).
