Pet care experience
I grew up in a family of pet lovers with cats and a dog, and since I have been old enough I have been scooping litter boxes, bathing and walking dogs, etc. Animals are my passion and after starting off as a volunteer at my local shelter, I was lucky enough to be hired on and I have been there for 5 years and counting! I am very dedicated to my shelter babies. After my shifts are over I love to lay on the couch with the animals and watch Netflix or take the dogs out for walks in the park. This provides a great opportunity to spend more time with them, which in turn can help them with their manners. Afterwards, these dogs have a greater chance of going to their "fur-ever" home! Having worked at a shelter I am comfortable with all sizes and temperments of dogs and cats. I am comfortable giving most medicine and even have a dog of my own who gets his eyes cleaned out and eye drops several times a day.

Caitlyn was a godsend! She saved us in a pinch when we were traveling across the country with our 30 lb 6 month old puppy. She picked him up from the hotel, took him to a park and ran him around. He had a great time based on the photos and video she shared… and his disposition after his adventure. We really appreciate Caitlyn and will definitely call her next time we’re in the area!!!
Caitlyn was amazing with my two cats! She was prompt, caring, and had great communication. She even won over the trust of my not so friendly feline ?. I will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone!

If a yard is not fenced, I only do leashed potty breaks- no free roaming unless the owner specifically requests it. When dogs are with me in the car I always use a doggie seatbelt- one side is like a seatbelt attachment and the other side clips onto their collar like a leash. When they're on a walk with me I like to use either a harness or a martingale style collar so they can't slip out of their collar.

Behavioral issues and special needs are a case by case issue with me. I am comfortable with most of them but I would need to meet them and be comfortable with them! Also please let me know about any allergies your pets may have.
A typical day
I can easily adjust to different dogs' needs! I love to take dogs out to walk at the park, or spend time tiring them out with playtime but I would enjoy watching tv on the couch just as much :)
