When I was 15 my best friend Spencer was given to me. He was the cutest puppy I had ever seen, a German Shepherd/Bernese Mtn dog mix at about 4 weeks old. I raised him, trained him, played with him everyday and today he is one of the greatest parts of my life. Last summer I fell in love again while in Brazil, and brought home a sweet stray we named Honey. She ended up being pregnant, so, I actually rescued 7 dogs that trip, I raised 6 puppies last summer and found homes for 5 of them (we kept 1) and Honey lived in my dorm with me when I went to college. She and Spencer live between my parents in Montpelier and me in Burlington, I usually never have both of them at once and would be able to have a free house to board your pets. Spencer is 130 pounds and I am able to walk him with ease, Honey was a street dog that never wore a harness or leash, and I walk her every day with both of those. I have a lot of experience loving, caring for, and raising dogs. It would be an honor and a pleasure to join in your journey with your furry friends.
