I grew up on a farm in Georgia with 10-20 dogs and 20-30 cats at a time. Anyone who wandered onto the property got adopted, so I grew up with all kinds of personalities. Life on the farm taught me psychology of critters, but my later professional experience taught me the physiology of cats and dogs. Moving into adulthood, I worked 3 years at a cat boarding/grooming/adoptions/nutrition/behavior facility and learned *so much* about cats. Then 2 years at Mud Bay rounded out my dog education better. And, now, I'm wrapping up a year of work at a specialty cat hospital! I love meeting new dogs and cats, and I can't wait to get to hang out more personally with them all.
