Pet care experience
Hello! I am a lifelong animal lover who grew up nurturing both dogs and cats! I share my home with my 3 fur babies (one dog and 2 cats) and watch my friends' and families' critters often because I thoroughly enjoy spending time with animals. I volunteered at Safe Haven of Iowa County, a local animal shelter, for 3 years to walk dogs, which combined my enjoyment of spending time outdoors with my happiness of being around animals. I have experience with other animals, including rats and chinchillas, and am happy to learn about other critters!

Caitlin’s watched our pets several times- she’s always just perfect and this time was no exception. She’s communicative, reliable and sends lots of photo updates that make it a bit easier to be away from home. We always feel comfortable leaving knowing she’s taking care of the crew!
Caitlin makes sure my cat is loved and cared for. She goes above and beyond to keep an eye on the house and communicates quickly and thoroughly. I feel much better leaving town knowing my ornery little cat is in great hands.
Caitlin came by daily to check on my cat while I was out of town. She sent several pictures every day so I could see what fun they were having. Communication with her was easy and fast. She went above and beyond to make sure my home was safe and comfortable for my cat and helped with small tasks like bringing in the mail, etc. I will definitely reach out to her with confidence in the future!
Caitlin has watched my cat Lulu a couple of times while I am out of town for school breaks and always does a fantastic job!! She is very communicative and takes great pictures and videos for me to see how she’s doing. I’m never worried when Caitlin is watching my cat and love having her as a sitter!

Currently I do not offer boarding, as my space is too small to add any more furry ones! 😄 I am potentially available for house sitting, but it depends on the schedule you need, as I do have my pup that I need to take care of last thing at night and first thing in the morning! It is good to know about any sort of behavioral issues to look out for while I am with your pup, such as temperament towards other people and animals, or things they may try to get into at the house or outside.
A typical day
I love walking with dogs and getting to know their personalities on walks! I also love letting them out to run around in a yard, and playing with them with their favorite toys!

Availability
I do work full-time from 7-5:30, so unfortunately I am not available during those hours on weekdays (with the exception of Dec 21-27, I am more open on those days!), but I am available during the evening or weekends for sitting and dog walking.
