Pet care experience
I am a experience dog-lover and care taker, having taken care of several family and friend's pets in the past. While our home may be small, it is quiet, and perfect for hosting visiting pooches. I am a medical student training to become a physician, so you can rest assure your pet is in responsible, friendly, and knowledgeable hands. I live with my boyfriend of 8+ years, who is also an experienced animal lover. While my boyfriend works evenings part-time, I attend clinical rotations morning-afternoon, however my schedule changes frequently and is somewhat flexible. If your pet is ever alone in our home, it would be for a short period of 3-4 hours at most. While we know leaving your beloved pet for any amount of time is difficult, we are confident they will love their stay with us! We are very excited to host your furry family member for any duration, make in-home visits, or provide walking services! Drop-off on the first day of stay is offered 11am-8pm, pick-up on the last day of stay is offered from 8am-3pm. Drop-off/pick-up outside of these times is by request and may incur a small additional fee. We do offer pick-up/drop-off at your home for additional fee.
Reviews
Caitlin was wonderful with all our animals! We would definitely have her sit again.
Caitlin was accommodating and good with my girl!
Caitlin has watched our dog - Mojo - on many occasions, ranging from stopping by to let her out for a few minutes to staying at our home for up to a week to dog-sit. On each occasion, she arrived when she said she would, cleaned up after Mojo, and took excellent care of her. Caitlin has proven to be reliable and helpful, but above all she is wonderful with animals (not just dogs) and truly loves them. I trust her with both our dog and our home. You can be assured that Caitlin will take excellent care of your pet.
Caitlin is a true dog lover. She is very responsible and always communicates clearly and in a timely manner. When I leave my dog with Caitlin, I know she is in good hands and I don't worry about her at all. I would highly recommend Caitlin to anyone.

Information Caitlin R. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to meet, or speak on the phone, with owners prior to their pet's first stay with us or providing in-home services such as home visits or walking services, to discuss details. **Our apartment is on the 2nd floor. We have 1 flight of wooden steps that lead up to our front door. Therefore please be aware your dog needs to be able to climb/go down stairs to access our home. We have no problem carrying small dogs under 25 Ibs, or going slow with the more senior companion.** Some of the questions I may ask before boarding services are: Is your dog house-trained? Does your dog chew/destroy items in the house? Is your dog friendly toward other dogs? Strangers? Has your dog ever bitten a person or other animal? Does your dog do well by themselves for short periods of time, or do they exhibit separation anxiety? Is your dog leash trained? Does your dog know basic commands (i.e sit, stay, etc.)? Has your dog ever tried to (or has successfully) escape the house and run away? Does your dog take any daily medications, or have any other special needs? Is your dog crate trained? Does your dog have any chronic medical conditions (heart failure, diabetes, seizure disorders, etc)? Some questions I may ask before providing walking services are: Is your dog leash trained? Does your dog know basic commands (i.e sit, stay, etc)? Do you use a typical collar, training collar, or chest harness? Is your dog friendly toward other dogs/animals? Is your dog friendly toward strangers? Has your dog ever bitten another animal or person? Has your dog ever backed out of their collar, or got off leash unexpectedly? We have no breed preferences, and are experienced with handling large breed dogs as well as bully or "pitbull" breeds.
A typical day
Dogs staying in our apartment will enjoy frequent walks around our complex and quiet neighborhood. There are several other dogs in our complex that they will have the possibility of interacting with, and our community is very dog-friendly! There are also several dog parks in the area that we can visit, if the owner permits.
