Pet care experience
I'm currently a student at Purdue University studying animal sciences. I have been a dog walker at an animal shelter for two years, so I have experience with all types and sizes of dogs. I also have been taking care of my own dog for the past nine years. I love spending time with all types of animals and want to pursue a career in animal care. I have interned at a vet clinic and would like to eventually apply to vet school. I want to treat all breeds of dogs fairly, so I will not discriminate against any breeds. I intend to give each animal the best care possible to keep them healthy and happy. I also have experience taking care of my neighbor's pets and I am able to follow specific care instructions for when an animal is sick.

A typical day
I plan to take the dogs on walks either in the neighborhood, or if it's okay with the owner I would love to take the dogs to a park and walk around and go on runs with the dogs. If the dog has a lot of energy then I will be sure to take them on runs. I will also play with them at the house with their toys.
