Hello! My name is Catie. I have a lifetime of experience with animals -My mother is an animal lover, and so, growing up, my home was always full of a variety of furred, feathered, and scaled friends. I started working at a small local no-kill dog rescue at the age of 14, where I learned the ropes of working with dogs professionally — providing food, water, exercise, medication when necessary, and basic grooming. We worked with a lot of timid, feral dogs, and I am happy to provide the patience and understanding that each individual animal requires in order to thrive and come out of their shells! I worked with the shelter into my mid-twenties. I started offering pet sitting locally as a teenager, and have nearly two decades of experience with that, as well. Some of my clients from my hometown have lovingly dubbed me “the dog whisperer” — hah! When it comes to walks, I enjoy exploring the dog-friendly parks around the city. I recently moved here from Colorado, and I love to be in nature — especially with my buddy Q, and all my future canine pals. So a little about day care and boarding: I live in a small house with two cats and a dog, so any clients should, at the very least, be civil with other animals. Currently my backyard is unfenced, but we are working on getting a 6 foot fence installed. Please don’t hesitate to let me know about any special needs your dog may have; any quirks, or even any silly routines that might make them feel more comfortable. I am happy to accommodate them to the best of my ability.
