Pet care experience
I've cared for my own dog (as well as cats, fish, and ferrets) along with friends' dogs over short and long-term periods. My dog is a rescue and came to us very skittish, so I know how to be patient and kind with varied canine-alities :-) I house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained my dog (in addition to teaching her a variety of other verbal and physical commands). I've also always made my own dog-food for my girl, so if you like things "just so" for your baby, I'm here to deliver!

My roommate has a cat, so any dogs that come into our home have to be cat-friendly. I'm also eager to learn of any special needs your dog may have, as well as his or her disposition towards other dogs, people, and environments. And of course I'm eager to learn what I can do to keep your pooch as happy and comfortable as possible while you're away!
A typical day
My apartment is located near two different parks, both of which have dog-runs and dog parks separated for small and large breeds. As long as your pooch is up-to-date on shots/properly socialized and fixed, I'd love to take him or her out to play in the park! When we're both at home I'm happy to work on whatever obedience training program you may be following, in addition to giving plenty of affection, attention, exercise and belly rubs :-)
