I would definitely like to know how they are around other dogs/people, and how they may react if encountering another dog/person during a walk. Are they comfortable if dogs/people come up to them, or should I cross the road, etc.? Are they skittish around loud noises like passing cars, playgrounds full of children, etc.? Anything you could tell me about your dog's disposition and temperament would of course be helpful. I don't have any breed preferences, but I will say I am more comfortable with small/medium sized dogs. My current dog is under 40 lbs, so that is what I am used to walking. I could certainly handle a dog that is larger than that, but it's completely up to you!

If your dog is up for it, I really enjoy Deep Run Park, which is just a short walk from my house. I think it's a great place to take your dog, because there are most secluded paths if your dog enjoys a quieter stroll, or more populated areas if they love people! If your dog doesn't like car rides or is a little scared of walks in unfamiliar territory, there is just as much fun to be had in your neighborhood, yard, or home. I've never met a dog who doesn't enjoy a good long belly rub!
