I am a CCPDT Dog Training Apprentice. I have years of experience with a variety of dog breeds of varying personalities and needs. Reactive, anxious, and young or senior dogs are no worry at all! I specialize in puppy socialization and keeping your dog busy and happy with creative enrichment.

It is hard to leave your pets, but Caitlin makes it a little easier. She truly treats them like her own and they are always excited to see her. I cannot recommend her enough. She is responsible, reliable and a very caring person. 10/10 caregiver.
Caitlin is wonderful with animals and has a vast knowledge of pet care and animal behavior from her years of experience working with them hands-on. They are passionate about providing the best care possible, that matches the specific needs of each animal they work with. Caitlin is always open to learning more from the animals she works with and is one of the first people I reach out to when I need a dog sitter!

I have a very large fenced yard with anti-dig barriers and locked gates. We even have doggie pools and some agility equipment. My personal dogs are kept on a separate floor and introduced slowly and appropriately, if indicated. Dogs in my home have access to a large, safe area to relax, play, and explore. When pet sitting, I leave any client's home cleaner than I entered. Because of the delicate nature of dog on dog interactions, I will do my best to make sure your dog gets playtime with compatible dogs, but I cannot guarantee that a suitable friend will be available. You can expect plenty of pictures and videos of your dog enjoying their day! I keep careful record of potty breaks, meals, and activities. You will receive a copy of this report at the end of their stay. My house is absolutely HUGE! There is plenty of room for multiple dogs, so dogs who don't get along with other dogs are very easy to accommodate.

Please let me know about any behavioral concerns such as resource guarding, barking or lunging at people or dogs on walks, any excessive shyness or wariness of strangers. Food allergies and dietary restrictions are good to know as well! Also please let me know about any training goals you have so that I may reinforce and reward good behavior!
A typical day
The possibilities are endless! In good weather, we may hike at Preddy Creek or a private farm. Swimming is an option! We will spend time playing fetch in the yard, roaming the woods on leash, and playtime with compatible dogs, if possible. On yuckier days, we will focus more on mental activities such as puzzles, lick mats, scent work, and training games. Dogs have plenty of time and comfy beds to decompress and relax, too! We have a TON of toys to choose from so no pup goes bored. If approved, your pooch is welcome to accompany me on my training observations and practicals and get some time with a certified trainer and behaviorist. They may even get to be a demo dog!

I am available most days to care for your companions! I am able to be flexible with your needs and would love to accommodate last-minute requests. I work from home, so pets are always in the company of their caregiver.
