I have been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old. I often use the popular phrase “dogs are better than people” because, well, it’s true right!? In July of 2020, I purchased my first home with a big back yard for my two labradors (yes they were the main reason LOL - spoiled). My goal is to eventually purchase a few acres so that I can operate my own daycare and boarding facility but for now, I operate from home. Your fur babies will have the most comfortable visit with tons of clean blankets, big dog beds, unlimited play time and treats! My 2 dogs have been socialized since they were only a few weeks old but if you prefer to keep yours separate from mine, I certainly can easily accommodate. I will care for your babies as if they were mine and will send you an abundance of photos and video updates. Owner and operator of Red Dirt Paws Retreat LLC. Open 7 days a week. Monday - Thursday 8AM - 8PM Friday & Saturday: 9AM - 9PM Sunday: 10 AM - 6 PM Dogs will be crated at night but will have free roam of the backyard and big den (dog playroom) during the day. Big dogs and small dogs are kept seperate for safety.

Caitlin did an excellent job of taking care of our dog while we were away. She sent updates with pictures regularly so we didn’t worry about anything. She has a room dedicated to just the dogs that is fenced off. Her yard is well-kept and has plenty of room to run and play. Great at communication! I would recommend!
Caitlin is fantastic and friendly! You can absolutely tell she is a dog lover and there isn't any other kind of person you would want taking care of your pups. She is a great communicator. You will never question her timeliness, how she is caring for your pups, or how they are doing. She will keep you in the loop while you are away. I won't hesitate to ask for Caitlin's help in the future!

Dogs must be spayed and neutered. Vet records showing up to date shots must be provided. If your dog shows aggression toward other pets or humans in the home to a degree deemed unsafe, an emergency contact will be contacted to pick up the animal. It’s extremely rare that it happens because I always do a meet & greet but I have had it happen before(dog acted extreme due to not knowing where owner was). Dogs must be house broke and if not a $50 fee will apply. An accident once is not a big deal because they are in new territory but continued occurrences will indicate lack of training and will result in a fee. Dogs must be crate trained! The kennel is something I use consistently during night time, feeding time, if I step out to run an errand, etc. It keeps the animal and others safe in the home.
A typical day
Walks in the morning around the neighborhood, fetch, and unlimited backyard play time. Your pup will also have friends to play with. Your dog will love their stay!
