Pet care experience
Ever since i can remember I have loved dogs- from childhood pets to dog sitting for my friends. It has always been a priority to me to really make sure dogs get plenty of love and have lots of time to exercise and enjoy the outdoors. I am willing and happy to bring your furry friend along for beach visits, walks, or hikes or just stop in and give them some love. A little about me: I'm a Santa Cruz local artist who loves being outdoors, when I’m not creating I am checking the surf or skating around town. I also have two kitties of my own! Caitlin is amazing with all three of my labs. She is attentive and caring, but knows how to handle three large rowdy dogs. She is always on time and always sends photos! I highly recommend Caitlin and will be using her again in the near future.
Caitlin has a genuine love for animals and, as a pet parent herself, she understands the bonds that exist between people and their pets. She has common sense and a working knowledge of behavior and body language to be able to correctly read what an animal needs. She is respectful of home and property and is trustworthy.

I have two kitties that live with me, Pinecone and Avocado. New dogs in the house stress them out so pet-sitting overnight will have to be at the clients home. Travel and walks around town are not a problem.

Let me know how your dog is around other dogs and animals, is it okay for them to stop and say hi to other dogs on a walk? How are they with new people and socializing? What is their favorite toy, would they rather have the ball thrown in the yard or more mental stimulation games?
A typical day
I am an East-Side girl so I love to adventure down East Cliff and check out all the surf, walk around the neighborhoods and trails, and hang out at the beaches are parks. There is a great dog park directly across the street from my house that is always a great option for social pups or, if solo walks are better, tons of fun walks close to the beach.

Availability
I work a typical 9-5 during the week but just went down to 4 days; Tu-Fri. I have time on the weekends + Monday for house sitting, dog walking, etc! During the week I can stop by anytime after work or before. I am the perfect fit for your long weekend trips or before/after work check-ins & walks.
