Pet care experience
I’m a full time pet sitter in Los Angeles. I grew up with labradors and rescue kittens and was a dog walker through college. Most recently I worked as a coordinator and walker for a pet services company in Silverlake. I am experienced working with dogs who have anxiety, fear aggression, and who are reactive. I pride myself on having a calm and relaxed demeanor around animals. If you need to say “just ignore him” when people come into your home, I’m your girl. I currently have two dogs myself: A 140-lb. Newfoundland and a little Jack Russell. If you’re in Echo Park you may have seen us out and about! My Jack Russell is a rescue with anxiety and fear aggression but I have worked with him over the past 6 years and he is a changed man. I understand the challenges of having an anxious dog, and I’m happy to be a calm and comforting figure for yours!

Caitlin did an outstanding job taking care of our senior bun Oscar! Her updates were informative and fun to read, and we really loved getting the photos. When she noticed Oscar’s behavior changed, she let us know right away in case there was reason to worry. Caitlin’s communications were clear, she was 100% reliable, and she's a real animal whisperer! So grateful we found her and we’ll definitely use her services again!

I am happy to do same day walks and drop-ins, but for longer stays I would like to set up a meet and greet in advance. Please share what your expectations are for the service you are booking, and we can work together to make sure you and your pet’s needs are being met.
A typical day
I will talk to your pet like they are a human, so I hope they’re ready to have long conversations. I personally love playing tug of war, fetch, and going for long walks (does it sound like a dog is writing this?). I enjoy walking in the city, and I know pups enjoy the interesting smells the fire hydrants have to offer. I’m familiar with a few different trails in LA, so if a hike is more your speed, I can pick up your dog to head to a good hiking spot (and drop them off after, of course)!

Availability
I’m a full time pet sitter and I am available anytime between 7am - 7pm (if your request is outside of those hours, just ask!). I have a car with a backseat set up for animals, so I can taxi yours wherever they need to go.
