Pet care experience
I just graduated in Spring and currently work for Ohio State during the week and Barks & Rec for boarding shifts on the weekends. I’ve grown up with a shih tzu since I was 10 years old and currently have my own Shih tzu/ bichon mix named Diesel. We both love all dogs and I take him on at least 3 walks a day— especially to Goodale and Wheeler to socialize. I have also worked with older dogs and have administered medicine when needed. I've taken care of breeds ranging from 5lbs to 120lbs, as well as all types of cats. I live in the Victorian Village, which is perfect for walks and have a spacious apartment. I also have my own car for visits, so I can be flexible when traveling to your house. I will shower your babies with the love and care they deserve! I work a fairly flexible job and am completely remote Monday/Friday. Over the summer, I will be staffing OSU's orientation, so I will not be available from 8-10am M-Th. I also work at a doggy daycare on Saturdays from 7-9am and 4-6pm.

Caitlin was amazing at her check-ins with our two cats. They're very shy and avoid strangers, but Caitlin still made sure to leave treats out where she could see they had been eaten and kept a close eye for us on their water, food, and litter. She even went above and beyond and brought in mail for us, including a heavy package that was delivered. We would recommend Caitlin to anyone who needs pet care and will definitely reach out to her with any future needs.
Caitlin is a wonderful sitter. She not only took good care of my cats' needs while I was away, but she also spent plenty of time petting the social one and making sure they got the attention they like. She also cleaned up after my cats and is very communicative. Will be booking Caitlin again!

My first priority is making sure that every dog is comfortable in their environment. I like to schedule meet and greets even for just walks or check-ins so that they're used to me and know that I'm a friendly face. I live in a secured apartment building with a roommate who works from home, so we are both here to keep an extra eye on your pup. I also generally keep owners updated throughout the entire stay with photos in addition to the ones posted in the Rover Card.

A typical day
Diesel and I always have fairly active days. After breakfast, I usually take him to Wheeler dog park or just on a walk around Victorian Village if he's feeling a bit more tired. If I have a pup that isn't comfortable going to the dog park, we take nice strolls down the neighborhood. We come back for some play time and then usually take a nap together. After he wakes up, we go back outside for a shorter walk and chill for the afternoon (sometimes I'll take him to the pet store and let him pick out something or get him a pup cup at Starbucks). The evenings vary, but most of the time we'll just go back to the park so he can get his final "zoomies" in for the day.

Availability
On the days that I am available, my day is solely focused on your pup/cat. Diesel loves to have friends around as well, so I take it as an opportunity to explore nearby parks or have some play time. I typically go for three walks a day, but don't mind accommodating more.
