Pet care experience
Hello my name is Caitlin. I started a homestead a few years ago. I have experience working with a wide variety of animals. I have owned dogs and cats and other animals my entire life. My homestead is my full time job, working for myself allows me plenty of flexibility with my time! For animals who would be staying in my home, if they do not get along with other animals I have a finished basement with bedroom/living room and that is where I would stay with your pet during their stay with me. I have a separate fenced in area in my yard to provide dogs who don’t like other animals a safe space to run and play! Animals are my life and their safety and happiness is my number one priority! I follow the instructions given by the owner to best suit the pets day to day routine! I am not afraid to handle pets with special needs or medical issues either! While pets are in my care they only get the best quality care. Hope to hear from you soon, and looking forward to meeting all your lovely pets!! -My one requirement is that owners are honest with me! Every pet is unique, and all I ask is that an owner provides me with the best description of their pet as possible. What makes them happy what sets them off, what’s their routine so on and so forth!

Caitlin is great. Our 9 year old dog has to take 6 pills a day, and gets a shot every 10 days. With Caitlin's experience, I was very comfortable leaving him with her - and she administered his shot for us while we were away. Our dog loved being around all the other animals - swimming in the duck pond! Our dog jumps out of the car excited to go to Caitlin's house - and was very well adjusted coming home after spending more than a week with her. Highly recommend!
Caitlin is amazing! She cares about your pets as if they were her own. She has a way with animals and very knowledgeable with their care needs. Her experience with running her farm and all the different animals she cares for make it easier to leave my pups while i’m away because I know they’re in good hands. I’m never worried about my dogs when they are with Caitlin because she provides frequent updates and pictures! I would recommend her services to anyone in need of a sitter.

I do not have any discrimination toward species or even more so breeds! I will pet sit for rats if that’s what you own as a pet! Before I take any animal into my home there must be a meet and greet, and at that meet and greet I would like transparency from pet owners. I will always be honest and forward with my clients, so I expect the same in return. Your dog doesn’t like other animals esp not other dogs, I can accommodate....but I must be told before hand. Your pet has separation issues and may be timid or frightened at first, no problem I can handle that as well....but I must be told beforehand. So on and so forth; I just ask for honesty regarding a pets personality and normal behavior traits.
A typical day
I have a large fenced in 3 acre property. For animals who get along with all kinds of other animals they may have free supervised run of the yard. For animals who do not like other animals I have a separate fenced area to ensure everyone’s pets get plenty of exercise and play time no matter their temperament toward other animals! If your dog goes well on leash (as where I live there aren’t many sidewalks so dogs have to be at least moderately leash trained) then they will be walked anywhere from 2 to 6 times a day depending on their need/activities done that day. If your pet likes water; awesome! My property had a stream running through my yard and parks and bodies of water close by! Basically anything you do with your dog or want your dog to be doing is what I will do.
