Pet care experience
I work full time at Trader Joe's and am an aspiring detective for the police department. I just graduated from UCSD and am looking for a way to make extra money while pursuing my career. I am highly motivated and ready to take on whatever challenges come my way! I really value animals, especially dogs. My family has always had dogs and we have always taken good care of them. While I do not have any professional experience looking after dogs, I have had plenty of experience taking care of both dogs and cats for family members, neighbors, and even former teachers. I enjoy taking them on walks and runs (as running is one of my hobbies), and I enjoy playing a good game of fetch!

Caitlin was wonderful! She responded to my request right away and was very professional. My pup is a very shy little guy and she was so patient with him and sent me lots of pictures so I knew he was doing okay. I would definitely recommend Caitlin for any pet sitting needs!

While staying over someone's house, I take the pets on many walks, I play with them indoors or outdoors if there is a backyard available. If leave the house to run errands, I am not gone for long (again if it is on my days off) and I make sure the pets have used the bathroom and have plenty of water available. If I am coming over for walks or drop-ins, I will make sure to walk the pets for an appropriate amount of time to ensure they get enough exercise and have had enough time to use the bathroom.

I do not have much experience with special needs dogs, but if given the proper instructions, etc., I am happy to accommodate and help out in any way I can.
A typical day
I enjoy walking and running with pets, I ensure that they get plenty of exercise and have plenty of water. I love to play fetch with pets and rub their bellies and just give them tons of love!

Availability
As mentioned, I do work full time at Trader Joe's as I just graduated college and am trying to move on with my career. That being said, I am usually off Friday's and Saturday's so I am happy to stay over your house/apartment with your furry friend(s) Friday and Saturday nights, given I do not have work those days. As far as Sunday-Thursday, I work do 8 hours, usually 2 to 10pm, sometimes as late at 10:30pm, so I am only available to have drop-in visits and do any walking, provided it is before 1:30pm. I am also open to staying the night so long as it is okay that I will work most of the afternoon/evening on those days (Sunday-Thursday).
