Pet care experience
I have personally owned and or worked with animals since I was 13 years old. worked for a veterinary clinic for over 6 years in a variety of jobs. I have experience with different types of animals, different breeds of pets, as well as different temperaments. I dog/house sit for most of the doctors I used to work for still and would confidently say they trust me without a doubt to take care of their kiddos. I will do everything I can to make sure your babies feel comfortable and try to keep the changes in the environment for them as stress free as possible. I own a very anxious, anti-social dog as well as an” everyone is my friend” dog so I do have experience with kiddos that may need some extra love and care.

Caitlin has done pet sitting for us several times while we were out of the country. I have a dog, cat and and rabbit and I always know they are in the best hands. She is easy to work with and has lots of animal experience. She is well qualified to give medications and handle senior pets too. Hire her :)
Caitlan has been watching my four dogs for the last two years; schnauzer, Rottweiler, dachshund, and pomsky. She always follows medication and feeding instructions as given. She has also worked in a veterinarian clinic for five years, and is great with handling any injuries or illness that might happen.
Caitlan has dog (and cat) sat for me twice, each time for over a week. Both my animals have specific medication requirements and feed instructions, all of which were followed and executed flawlessly!! She is also incredibly trustworthy and reliable, giving peace of mind that everything and everyone is well cared for.

I find it best to try to keep the pets’ schedule/routine as close to the same as possible. A new face can be nerve wracking, but if everything else is mostly the same, that tends to help the transition. I also treat my animals as members of my family. They may not speak our language or know what we know, but they have needs and wants, and it’s my job to take care of them to the best of my ability as I brought them into my home.

The most basic things, of course to make sure that they’re safe and well taken care of like they’re feeding schedule and their vet information and any personal contacts that you would like me to get a hold of if I can’t get a hold of you. But mostly, I want to know what you think is important for me to know. There’s never too much information. If you think whatever information you have is going to make it easier for me to make sure that your pet is comfortable while you’re gone I need to know that information. I am an overcommunicator so I can appreciate if someone needs extra communication regarding their pet. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to be communicated with, I can absolutely do that and check in when only necessary, but it will never bother me to let you know how your pet is doing 100 times a day if I have to .
A typical day
Depending on your pets needs, I find daily walks, or playtime’s, especially for you get pets to really help their energy and activity time but also help them settle in the evenings. If they love toys and play time, I play a great game of tug. For the older guys, some good lovins never hurt anyone!

Availability
I do work full time during the week, but I can check in on them in the AM before and after. I get off at 430pm so the commute is quick and easy. I am off weekends and have no issues staying if I need to in order to accommodate your pets schedule appropriately.
