Pet care experience
I used to have a Maltese-Yorkie with a few health problems, so my family and I cared for her until she passed away. My dog had a heart murmur, took allergy medications, and also had seizures. In addition to these experiences, I was trained as a PETSMART associate and learned even more about many domestic pets. Caring for animals is a passion of mine. I love giving them loads of attention, love, and exercise! I will give your pet any medicine they need and will cuddle them for you while you're away.

I have never seen Cailyn happier than when she's with a dog. She is easily the most compassionate and caring young adult I have ever met, and this mirrors her behavior towards dogs as well. Not only has she had a great deal of experience caring for dogs in both her personal and work life, but she also volunteers at her school through the program PGI (Paws Giving Independence). This program is a non-profit organization located in central Illinois that trains service dogs for those in need. Being apart of this program means that Cailyn works with dogs on a regular basis, teaching obedience and various skills. Volunteer work like this requires a great deal of patience and dedication, both of which are skills that Cailyn has mastered over her lifetime of caring for dogs.
Cailyn would be the PERFECT dog sitter! With experience from owning dogs herself to her time employed at Petsmart, Cailyn always goes out of her way to make sure the dog's happiness and safety comes first. She knows the basic care and more on dogs, as well as signs of stress! Not only does Cailyn have the knowledge for the job, she has the heart. She is so sweet and has an amazing, positive personality. She constantly goes above and beyond and would be an amazing addition to Rover.com's dog walking team.

A typical day
Walking around beautiful Champaign neighborhoods would be a good use of dog energy. For cats, I will play with any toys you provide! But before I do anything, I need to know how your pets are around other animals, how they are around people, and how many treats they can have.

My schedule is very open right now, and the rest is flexible. As long as the care is scheduled at least 1 week in advance, I can be there.
