My name is Cailey and I am a third grade teacher in Columbus! Caring for animals has always been a strong passion of mine and Rover is the perfect place for me to have that opportunity. Prior to being a teacher, I had an internship at a Veterinary clinic where I assisted the Veterinarian. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters where I’ve walked dogs and spent time with them. I’d love to make your dog’s day better whether that is taking them for a good walk or spending quality time with them while you are away!

My apartment has a total of three dog parks. These are kept very clean and are completely fenced in. If your dog boards with me, they will be able to be in whatever room makes them feel most comfortable/on furniture. I’ll also utilize the dog park to play fetch if that is something your dog enjoys!

Please let me know if your dog requires any special attention in terms of medicine or special food. I also have a three year old lab who is extremely friendly and gets along with any dog but please let me know if your dog is hesitant around other dogs or takes longer to warm up so I can introduce them in the appropriate way.
A typical day
A typical day is full of fun! In the morning, I will feed your dog and take them out for a nice long walk around the city. After that, I’ll be sure they are hydrated and have a cool space to relax. I have a food puzzle that they can try with treats of your choice to stay stimulated as well. At some point throughout the day, we will stop by the dog park and get some energy out by playing fetch. Our evening will consist of eating dinner and having another long stroll through the city before we cuddle up to go to bed!

My weekdays are busy. I would be available anytime after 5:00 pm. My weekends are usually completely open so I can be more flexible on Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
