Hi there! My name is Cailey. I have been working in the veterinary industry for about 2 years and have 3 fur babies of my own. I grew up taking care of my family’s pets and have cared for my own since I was 18. I have received my national certification as an approved veterinary assistant and am certified in fear free handling as well. I am currently in school to become a certified veterinary technician. :) I would love the opportunity to care for your pets! I understand how stressful it can be not knowing if they are happy when you’re away from home, and I would be happy to alleviate that stress for you! I have experience working with all varieties of sizes, temperaments, and medical conditions in animals.

Our cat loved hanging out with Cailey seemingly from their first drop-in. Cailey was a pleasure to deal with and we greatly enjoyed her reports and photos from each drop-in with our kitty. We can’t recommend her enough and will happily continue to use her for all of our cat-sitting needs. Thank you Cailey!
Cailey was very nice and great with my boys, she was quick to adapt to a change in routine and even brought extra water for them on their walks. 10/10 would have her care for my fur babies again.

Cailey is one of the kindest people I have ever known, to both animals and humans. She has 3 pets that she adores and dedicates her life to. She loves animals so much that she went back to school to become a vet tech (which she is now!) Cailey is also super responsible because for as long as I’ve known her she’s been a hard worker and here these past few years she’s been working two jobs while studying! I truly believe that she is the right person for this job and the lovely pets of river would be in loving and responsible hands!

While I am unable to care for your pet in my home due to one of my dogs being reactive, I will make safety the number one priority in your home! I am extremely aware of my surroundings. My little houdinis are always trying to squeeze their way out when I open doors and try to chase cars and bugs on our walks, so I am always hyper aware of any open doors, other animals in the area, or distractions that may be problematic.

A typical day
When I am staying with your pets, the day is all about them! We will do stimulating activities like long walks with lots of sniffing opportunities, playing with their favorite toys, and enriching thinking games. They will never have a bored moment!

I am currently working part-time at a vet hospital and will be unavailable during the day for 3 days out of the week. I am usually available overnight all days of the week!
