Caileigh is amazing!! She has cared for my pup multiple times and I feel bad because sometimes I ask on short notice. She is very kind to my pup and I can’t refer her enough!

***Please read*** important!!! We had a very bad experience with Caileigh. I would NEVER recommend using her to care for your pet. We arranged care for our pup months ago and I met Caileigh and went over with her what I needed her to do with my dog as well as added on (4) longer walks of at least 20 min to the booking. She replied that was fine and the walks would probably be 30-45 min long. Fast forward to after we left. On day three of our trip I received a text from her asking me if I could find someone to walk my dog since she was at a family event and wanted to stay. I asked her how long she had been gone to which she replied 4 hours. First off she could have asked me that morning, not in the afternoon after my dog has been alone 4 hours and missed a meal. I tried to locate someone but since it was evening and a Saturday night I could not reach anyone. I told her she needed to leave her event to care for my dog. She said ok, she would leave and head to my house. 2 hours later she still had not arrived at my house. I finally reached a friend who went over and took my dog for a walk after 7 hours in the house. Remember I requested 4 walks per day. She returned at around 7:30pm. She had left the house at 10:45am. After this I decided to review our nest cameras to see what was going on. Much to my dismay I found that the previous days my dog had been taken out 2x daily for 3 min walks and then only very short evening walk at 10:30 at night. I was horrified. This is not sufficient time to allow a dog to poop. I also watched and never saw her walk back into the yard with a poop bag in her hand, so either my dog did not poop ( not enough time given) or she did not pick it up. Either way this is unacceptable. I confronted her with this information and she did not protest or apologize. She just refunded me the extra fees I had paid for the additional long walks. Her communication was almost non- existent. First day I got a picture. No information. The second day I got a picture and a short note. The last two days I never received an update or picture of my dog. Anytime I texted her it could be hours sometimes before I got a reply. She was unreliable, poor communication, dishonest, deceitful. All I can say is thank God I have good friends who jumped to action to help me out after I found out how little he was outside and how long he was being left alone. I got home and my pup was okay but for the past two days he has been pooping massively. I am sure he was backed up from the days she gave him 3 minutes to do his business and them left him inside for seven+ hours. I have text, video to support all of this and have sent over to Rover management. Not sure what they will do but I wanted to warn anyone off from using her services.
