I am a dog and cat lover! I grew up with them, and have been pet-sitting for family and friends my whole life. I love being outside, and love time spent outside with dogs. I'm great at reading their personalities and energy-levels, and try to make my time spent with them as normal as possible to their usual routine and way of life. I'm willing to care for just about any dog, and will take good care of them.

CJ did a wonderful job watching our pets in our home while we were out of town. They were very responsible, communicated well with us, and accommodated our needs. We greatly appreciated not needing to worry while we were out of town, and CJ even won over our cat that tends to hide when any strangers are over. We would book again and recommend them to others.
Caiden has watched my Lab, Wrigley, multiple times over the last few years. They are always so good to Wrigley and he always leaves Caiden's a very satisfied pup! Wrigley loves to play catch (I think it's the only thing he thinks about) and Caiden is great about playing with him, along with making sure he is properly hydrated when it's too hot out! Wrigley loved Caiden and always gets so excited when he notices that we turned down the street they live on. Caiden is definitely a dog lover, and I think the feeling for Wrigley is mutual!
CJ has walked and played with my springer spaniel, Marty, various times throughout the year. CJ has provided great care and constant activity for my dog, as well as sent me photo updates while on their walks! I always felt comfortable leaving my dog with CJ and know Marty has also loved their time spent together.
CJ provided outstanding care for our golden doodle puppy. Our dog was a bit wary of strangers, and not as well socialized as we might have hoped, but CJ clearly provided loving care, because when our pup was returned to us she was much more gentle, had walked (even off leash) on the beach, and had bonded with CJ. I cannot say enough about how qualified, caring, and attentive CJ is as a dog sitter!

In my clients homes I’m very clean and respectful of how the space was when I entered it - I adopt a leave no trace mindset everywhere I go. I really just try to mimic the dogs daily routine and level of interaction that they’re used to on the daily with their owners. I also like to keep an open line of communication in the case that I have questions or the owners want updates.

I typically ask owners how much the dog usually eats, if they get along well with strangers or kids, and if there are certain actions or things that would scare the pup or make them uncomfortable in any way. I make sure to maintain the same walking, eating, or play routine as close to the one that the dog is used to.
A typical day
Dogs that I care for are ensured a quality walk around the neighborhood. We'll take a stroll through a nearby park and play fetch with their favorite toy or frisbee, and maybe even venture on a trail if they're up for it. A little cuddle time is always a bonus!

I’m in a transition period in my life between jobs and heading back to school in the fall. Ideally, pet sitting and walking will be a part time job, as requests come in.
