When I was a child, my father had a dog in our garden so I met animals from an early age. This helped me to grow my love for animals. I even wanted to be a veterinary until secondary school. I later changed this decision but I always stayed interested in animals. I fed fishes, pigeons. Then I met one of my best friends in my life. Maybe it seems strange for you but in Turkey, animals can live in streets and one day I found a dog in our street. Firstly, I was hesitant because I was feeding other dogs that sometimes came to the street, but my brother insisted that I fed him and I started to feed him. He began to stay and sleep in front of our house. Then, I realised I found one of the best friends in my life. Every day, he accompanied me while I went to school. When I started university, I had to go to another city. I may be exaggerating, but all I wanted was to see two creatures, when I returned to my hometown. One is my great grandmother and the other one is Rex, because I could talk with all family members by telephone, but with him I couldn´t speak on the phone.
