Caela stayed with my pup, Tuna, for a weekend while I was out of town. Caela was amazing throughout the entire experience - from great communication, to sending several updates with pictures throughout her stay, and overall taking amazing care of Tuna and my house while I was away. I will absolutely use Caela again, and would highly recommend her to anyone else looking for a considerate and caring pet sitter!

I have had many pets, who have all been the loves of my life. I have so much empathy on how nerve-wracking and uncomfortable leaving your pet under the care of someone else can be. I am outstanding with communication and update my clients every day while they are away from their fur-babies. I am also an excellent house-sitter. I will ensure your home is taken care of while you are away, including keeping things clean and organized, taking out trash/recycling, caring for lawn/plants, etc. while caring for and exercising your pet.

I require meet and greets prior to all new client bookings. These are important for introducing me to your pets (and my dog, if the service requires overnights). I always ensure important information is covered during these meetings, including your pet’s special needs/behaviors and typical schedule, vet/emergency information, and security/safety features of your home.
A typical day
I will always keep things fun and exciting for your fur-baby. Whether this means going for a hike or jog on a nearby trail, exploring the neighborhood, or playing fetch at a park, I will always strive to find new and adventurous stimulation for your pet, depending on you and your pet’s needs.

Availability
I do work full-time and am out of the home between 7-5pm on weekdays, with the exception of Mondays, when I work from home. I am unable to accommodate mid-day potty breaks Tues-Fri. So, pets who are okay being alone during workdays are great fits. I also have a friendly, house-trained, and well-behaved female Shih-Tzu who accompanies me to all overnight services. She is boring and usually keeps to herself, but will likely play with your pet after warming up.
