I grew up around dogs and cats and have always loved caring for animals. I have also watched and cared for many dogs for friends, family, and others, giving me experience with dogs of many different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I started training one of my own dogs when I was 14, and we even participated in local dog agility courses together. This sparked my interest in dog training and understanding how dogs communicate and learn. For the past two years, I have worked as a K9 handler, where I gained extensive hands-on experience with dog training, daily care, and behavior. I have also learned about basic canine health and how to recognize when a dog may not be feeling well or may need additional care. My experience has taught me that every dog is different and has their own personality, needs, and comfort level. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
