Pet care experience
I have grown up with rescue dogs. It stretched me to always learn each dog and their specific needs. Since having my own household, I have also learned the tricks to training up a puppy. We have two chocolate labs and have also had 3 litters of labs. From older dogs who need gentle love and extra help, to the young ones who need to run off their energy. I enjoy dogs and their companionship and personalities. They bring me so much joy and it's an honor to watch others puppers.

Cadi and Jonathon own two dogs of their own who they love and care for as part of their family. And, they have done likewise with the dogs I have seen them care for for others over the last few years. Dogs who stay with them get to play with their two dogs in their backyard, go for rides in the car, or snuggle on the sofa next to them.
Cadi is absolutely amazing with our dog! She takes great care of her when we need to go away for a few days and makes sure she is comfortable. Our dog always gets excited in the car when she realizes she is going to stay with Cadi!

I love having a new fur friend and tend to love on them more than my own dogs. I make sure to conform to the way their owner has raised them. Trusting them off the leash only if the owner is comfortable with it. Also learning what their schedule is usually like and adapting it into our home the best I can. For example, giving them time to run, giving them meds, feeding at certain times, ect. Between my husband and I we are flexible with our schedules to care the best we can for them. It's important to us to know they are in an uncomfortable situation. Their owners are gone and they are adapting to new environments or people. With that said, their trust and comfort is a priority to us.

A typical day
Some things I like to do with dogs is take them on runs with me, throw ball, run around the yard, play in the pond, ect.

Availability
I work full time (8-4:30) and have time before and after work. When we have an extra dog at our house, my husband works on the family farm and can bring them with him. Otherwise he always stops at home for lunch and can let them out midway through the day.
