Pet care experience
Hello there! I just moved to Illinois from Tennessee where I was an elementary teacher. Now, I work in retail, but I have worked with dogs and cats for many years, and I absolutely love taking care of them! I grew up on a farm in rural Mississippi which catered to all sorts of animals which helped foster my love of all things furry. Additionally, I often worked at my aunt's veterinary clinic in East Texas during the summertime where I learned how to properly groom, feed, and care for all types of animals (dogs, horses, cattle, etc.). I've worked with puppies all the way up to geriatric dogs as well as cats of all ages. I'm comfortable with providing medication to dogs as well as taking them for long, leisurely walks (or whatever distance they are used to walking). While I don't have any pets currently, I would love to help take care of yours!

Cadi did such a great job house sitting our cat Marie. Our cat is very high maintenance and it was so nice to have constant updates and pictures of her throughout our trip. I would definitely recommend Cadi and really can’t say enough about how great she was.
Our first house sitting was great, the second house sitting we did have some issues with communication. Cadi was sick and did not stay at our house for the weekend of house sitting. It wasn’t until after we were home and noticed on our security system that she wasn’t staying at the house. Unfortunately she didn’t communicate this to us until we asked her about it when we were home. Had we been informed before that there were issues, we would have worked something out, but not being told upfront felt like we were being lied to throughout the weekend. There was a period at night where our dogs were left from 6 PM until 8:30 AM the following morning, which is much longer than we prefer the pups to be left inside. We understand that circumstances happen, but we would hope for more transparency and communication in the future.
Cadi was great. Flexible, sent pics, took great care of our 8 month old golden retriever. Will use again!
