Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats, and birds. My grandmother bred Chihuahua's and I've always been fascinated with large dogs. I am currently the human counterpart of a Husky-Doberman mix and a Demestic Long hair cat that was found on a coworker's porch. Ive helped my mom train her Belgian malinois, pitbull, and mastiff over the past decade. She currently has two German shepherds that she occasionally asks for advice about. I have worked professionally in a vet clinic as an assistant and volunteered with a dog rescue of up to 60 dogs (and babysat them all for a week!) My favorite age is under six months so I specialize in puppies both for training and care but I have experience at all ages. My pair and I live with three over ten year old dachshunds and we all cohabitate peacefully.
Reviews
Absolutely amazing, communicated, sent pictures and truly loved your little one like her own. Extremely understanding and beyond thankful for her service
C. R. is one of the most compassionate people I know. Watching her interact with animals, and thier response to her is heartwarming. She is consistently able to handle challenging, or frightened animals with ease and calm. She has cared for my pets on numerous occassions. Upon my return they were clearly content and not stressed in the least. Without reservation I would recommend C. R. for pet care involving walking, pet sitting, playing, etc.

In the client home care is all dictated by the client! I am adaptable and friendly. I think quickly on my feet but I like to have a solid set of rules to be able to make my clients (pets and family) feel as at home in their own homes as possible. I understand that my rules aren't my own but instead what the home leader prefers. I like to discuss this based on each job and cover exactly what the human counterpart expects of me prior to the job. (But it usually always includes lots of pictures so you don't miss a thing!)
Information C. R. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing I want to know about is what kinds of treats can they have and would the human counterpart prefer to provide them? The next things I feel are important to know is do they have any allergies? Do they have a routine and what does that routine look like? Are there any things that bother my friends or triggers that could cause them to be uncomfortable or fearful? What does a perfect day with a new sitter or walker look like?
A typical day
Well that depends on the pet of course! Birds love dancing so we might have some music and dance fun. Kitties (and some puppies) love laser pointers! Some horses like to be led and others like to be ridden... I'm not afraid to find out each friend's favorite activities and do that thing with them whether it's tacking up and heading out or snuggling in for a movie... I'm versatile and playful so every day can be an adventure.

I work full time on base at the hospital and I'm looking to supplement my time with plenty of pets! I love animals and I love when I get to spend my free time hanging out with a furry friend.
