No stress fur baby care
Pet care experience
Growing up I had three different large family dogs as well as an outdoor cat. I currently have my own indoor cat who is very happy and healthy, his name is Beans. I’ve grown up around itty bitty 5lb lap dogs all the way up to large 70lbs+ dogs. I’ve had experience with dogs that are wayy too social and the exact opposite, not able to be around strangers at all. I’ve done extensive personal research into cat and kitten care and have spent lengthy time with dozens of cats in my lifetime. I have a very personal soft spot for all animals big and small. They are such pure, innocent beings that deserve all of our love and protection. But they are also incredibly diverse in behaviors and emotional experience so it critical to be mindful and patient with them always.
Reviews
First time using this service. Bryson is a nice guy but not the best for long term house sitting (7 days). We left detailed instructions and it appears they were not consistently followed. Many things didn’t go well and we were unpleasantly surprised by a number of things we found when we arrived. I reached out to him to let him know and I never heard back from him. We have a camera in our laundry room, which he was made aware of, where the cat litter boxes are located. We had to tell him twice to please clean the cat litter boxes since we could see that they weren’t being cleaned often (by the accumulation of feces). Still, our two cats were well and happy to see us when we got home.
Bryson was very conscientious and responsible. He bonded with both of our pets during his stay, and neither was distressed upon our return from vacation. He was great!
I am new to the area and was struggling with the idea of trusting someone with my fur baby. Bryson has made that transition so smooth and is truly amazing with Indy! I know she is well taken care of while I’m at work and enjoys her daily walks! Truly recommend!!
Bryson walked my dogs while I was out at the lake and had rough phone service making communication kinda difficult but he managed based on the care instructions he was given. He took pics of the pups of them playing and cuddling which was reassuring. Will definitely hire him for the next time I need a walker/sitter!

What happens when I meet/care for your pet? Well the specifics vary depending on the service being provided but a general summary would be: Off the bat have a clear and thorough understanding of the boundaries and expectations the client has for their animal. Listen to any warnings, concerns, or tips the client may have about their pet. Meeting the animal under client supervision and listen to any preferences they may have when it comes to meeting their pet (assuming this is the first time I’m meeting your pet). As well as understanding the Clients expectations of me and the care I will be providing for them, ensuring that their own and their pets needs are fully met.
Information Bryson L. would like to know about your pet
There are many things that I find very important to know about an animal ahead of time. Some of these things include: if the animal has any trauma or specific triggers, any food or environmental allergies, how the animal handles being around other animals and people of any variety, if they have any medical diagnoses that affect how they are cared for in any way (anxiety, diabetes, immune compromised, bowel obstructions/ complications, heat sensitivity ect.), Preferred or effective forms of communication and play, if they are grieving the loss of a human or animal companion (this has a huge affect on behavior), how much attention they like to receive and the ways they most commonly communicate their needs (not wanting any more attention/pets or wanting attention/pets, hungry or thirsty, wants to go outside to go potty vs. wanting to go outside to bark, excitement, anger/stress, ect.) As well as anything and everything the owner/s deems necessary for me to know prior to providing pet care.
A typical day
If you’re worried about your pet getting bored or not having enough stimulation throughout the day here are some tricks I use to help get some of that extra energy out, visits to the dog park (only if the owner previously expressed it’s okay), a walk by the river and throwing the stick out for them to catch, controlled roughhousing (with larger dogs or for those naughty, feisty kitties), laser pointer chasing works great for both cats and dogs, long play sessions that demand high amounts of energy (long distance fetch for dogs and keep away for cats are just two examples of this kind of activity). I’ll also be sure to use any toys they already have to good use. especially if they have a favorite toy, this will help aid in attentiveness and excitement toward the activity.
