Since before I can remember I was an animal lover and I grew up with lots of animals at home. My first job was petsitting for my neighbors and as soon as my parents deemed me old enough I started my own collection of critters. I rescued my first dog when I was in high school, a previously abused 5-year-old blue nose pitbull. Early on I worked with her through reactivity & separation anxiety training. Later I served as round-the-clock hospice care through her brutal fight with cancer, giving me lots of experience with administering medication and supportive care. I’ve also become quite comfortable with exotic pets as I’ve had all sorts from chinchillas to geckos to parakeets. In the last year I’ve acquired 2 crazy cats one of whom I found at 2 weeks old so I’ve lived the bottle baby life with the sleepless nights of feeding, bladder stimulation & daily baths. Over the years my love for animals has gained me experience in just about every type of pet care and I’m confident that I am equipped to provide the best possible environment for any and all of your pets while you’re away.
