Bryen was hired last minute with full disclosure that my boyfriend and I were both very sick (stomach bug) and cannot leave the apartment (or the toilet) for too long but still wanted Pebbles to have a long walk every day. Bryen has instructions for caring for our pup, Pebbles. Aside from a few excitement tinkles in the apartment. Pebbles did really well with Bryen, they went on walks for two days. Then Bryen cancelled after two days of walking Pebbles, no heads up, no recommendations for another walker. We live in a door man building where the guest entry is very strict; I specially left instructions for the doorman to let Bryen into the building, and a lockbox with a key inside on the door handle. Unfortunately, Bryen couldn’t figure out how to use the key and the door man asked him to stay outside of the apartment until they figure out his visitor’s rights. Which is understandable- I can see that as a miscommucaition and inconvinience to both the doorman and Bryen. Bryen cancelled the rest of the walks but does not know how to refund us. He messaged me via Rover telling me he “had to improvise” which may not be up to my expectations. My expectation is for him to get to my puppy and take her for a walk while I’m sick. Simple as that. If a dog walker cannnot improvise and cannot handle a doorman in New York City, I do not want to hire you. The last minute cancellation without details/instructions or a recommendation for another walker is, to me, considered inconsiderate and unprofessional. I suggest you find a walker who can handle adversity and can “improvise.” Would not recommend to anyone who has a doorman or a locked door.

Bryen is great! Very nice and respectful and always on time:) would recommend him to anyone.
