Full time pet care! (Fully insured)

Pet care experience

I am fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates! Certificate available upon request. I have had dogs my whole life. I am familiar with senior care including mobility issues and medication needs, as well as dog reactive dogs. I love and welcome all breeds and am comfortable feeding raw foods, wet foods, kibble with toppers, etc., and walking any small-medium dog. (Due to my small stature, it is unsafe for me to walk dogs over 50lb that pull excessively when they see something they want to go to, like another dog or person. Dogs over 50lb that do not have any issues walking on a leash are okay for me to walk!) I have experience owning German Shepherds, a Beagle, a Miniature Pinscher/ Pomeranian/ Chihuahua/ Pekingese mix, and a German Shorthair pointer. I have experience watching all kinds of pets including dogs of various breeds and sizes, cats, fish, and a hamster. If you need care for any kind of animal at all, just message me and we will work something out!

I can’t tell you how happy our family was to have Bryce once again care for our 4-year old Chihuahua, Paloma, while we were on vacation! We trust her completely to take great care of our dog since we’ve had her take care of her before. She sends us photos and updates daily as to how and what Paloma is doing. I would highly, highly recommend Bryce to take care of your dog or to take care of whatever pet you might have. She’s an absolutely fantastic pet sitter!!

Bryce was amazing and sent us plenty of pictures and updates about Archie's stay. She was very determined on keeping things as normal for him as possible such as feeding and sleep schedule. 10/10 would recommend.

Meet & Greets for Boarding and Daycare are typically done in my home, so you can see where your dog will be staying, and my whole family can meet your pup, however we are more than happy to meet at a public place instead if that is your preference! I have a large yard (no fence, but I do have a 90ft diameter tie out) bordering woods. The house is ranch style so no staircases which is great for small or senior dogs. There is 2 small steps to get into the front door but the back door where dogs would go outside only has one small step out the door and another small step off the patio. I also have pet stairs and ramps to accommodate small or senior dogs getting on/off couch if needed. We are okay with dogs on the couch/bed but will enforce a no pets on bed/couch rule if you’d like. I am able and willing to provide any care required and spend all the needed time with your pet. First time dog friendly boarding clients may be paired up with other dog friendly repeat clients of mine if appropriate, never another first time client. Dogs that are not dog friendly will always be boarded alone. Doggy Daycare is open to multiple family's dogs at the same time, but I am able to accommodate single family day care for any reason. I provide all of the care for your pets, and I live with my mother, father, and 16 year old brother, so on the off chance I do have to leave the house, at least one other person will be home to keep your pet company, supervised, and take care of any needs, 24/7. Both of my parents have passed Rover’s background check and are approved to be around client’s pets as well, so your pet is always in good hands! Dogs have free roam of the common areas of the house and bedroom access if someone is in there. Dogs are never crated (unless you provide a crate and times when you want them in/out). I do have 2 lizards and a group of pet mice but they are kept in their cages at all times when a clients pet is in the house, and are behind closed doors so pets presence will not affect them and vice versa! Please note that I have a service radius of 40 miles, but any drive over 1 hour (round trip) for dog walking and drop ins will incur a +$20 fee per visit to account for gas and time spent traveling. This fee does not apply to house sitting.

A typical day

I have all kinds of toys and balls for pets to play with, multiple sizes and styles of dog beds available, a large yard (90ft diameter tie out) that borders woods, a quiet safe neighborhood perfect for walks, and lots and lots of love to go around! When dog walking, my default style is “dog guided” where I let the dog choose their own (safe) route, which can include stopping for sniffs and doubling back if the dog wants to! I am also totally fine if you have a normal or preplanned route in mind! I am not a training professional however if you have a training regiment in place, I am also able to help train on walks (no pulling, staying in heel, dog checking in with me, etc.). I have experience walking reactive dogs and know how to redirect attention if necessary.

With the loss of my 16 year old German Shorthaired Pointer at the beginning of this year, there is no longer a dog in my life (for the first time ever). I am also between jobs while I provided round the clock senior care for her, so I am able and available to watch and care for your pet at any time and day.
