Employed at Parkside Animal Hospital for 3 and a half years before pursuing a Psychology degree at Indiana University Bloomington. I’m an animal lover with a passion for taking care of cats and dogs, and guaranteeing that their needs are met. I am very patient with animals and my experiences working as a veterinary assistant has given me a lot of meaningful experiences with a good wide variety of animals. Having the opportunity to work alongside veterinary technicians and veterinary doctors has given me a lot of knowledge including but not limited to: how to take care of animals, restraining animals for medical examinations, diagnostic procedures, feeding schedules, and documenting all the treatments performed on the animals. Beyond my experiences as a vet assistant, I have a Labrador retriever named Tori and a timid Polydactyl cat named Ricky. I love both of them with all my heart.
