Pet care experience
Hello! Whether your dog enjoys running, fetch, or a good, old-fashioned scratch, I'm your go-to guy! Over the years, my family has owned a golden retriever (Toby) and a German shepherd (Haven). Through working and volunteering at animal sanctuaries around the country and pet-sitting for friends, I have personally cared for a multitude of dogs, such as spaniels, Saint Bernards, pitbulls, bulldogs, mixed breeds, and more! Outside of dogs, I also have experience working with parrots, turtles, snakes, fish, cats, and all sorts of wild critters. When I’m not working, I love to play music and get outdoors. Before sitting, I like to know your dog's tendencies, personality, and energy level. Do they prefer running around or would they rather walk? Do they like to be pet? If so, are there any areas they prefer not to be pet? Do they interact well with people and/or other dogs? Are they shy, anxious, etc.? Do loud noises bother them? Basically, I want to make sure your pet can have the best experience possible and nothing catches me off guard. I am open to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities!
A typical day
I live in a great neighborhood, with the Gallatin Valley Regional Dog Park just down the road. If your dog is a runner, I am too! If your dog likes to play fetch, I always keep several frisbees in my car. I am an overall athletic guy who is more than willing to run around and play with your dog. If there is anything specific your dog enjoys doing, I am always willing to give it a shot!
