Compassionate and professional care

Pet care experience

I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 15 years. I take pride in providing the best care possible, being fully present to an animal and their needs, and providing the peace of mind to you that I would want when away from my pets. With pets of my own, I know what it is like to find someone who you truly trust and feel comfortable with - I hope to be that person. I have a flexible hybrid telework schedule that allows me to be available for care-taking around your pets' schedule needs. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and instructions. Some other helpful information to hopefully make you more comfortable: - My dog and I are a certified therapy team through Alliance of Therapy dogs. Our favorite way to volunteer is through See Spot Read (where we children read to Sadie at libraries to help their literacy). - I am also a State Employee, so my background is triple checked - I live in a spacious house on over an acre with a huge fenced-in backyard in a quiet dog-friendly neighborhood. - I have fostered dogs before, so have experience with a variety of needs, personalities, and training levels. I have also been very consistently dog sitting for the past 6 months, nearly a dog every week or weekend - many returning guests! - In addition to my black lab, who just loves to make new friends and share her toys, I have an incredibly sweet calico cat who also loves to host dogs! She and my dog are best friends; she even grooms Sadie and if she really likes your dog will do the same. We have no issues, even with dogs who have never met a cat before or ones who are usually afraid of them. It's very cute! We are not a good fit for: - High energy dogs - Large dogs over 85 lbs. - Dogs who are overly-excited around cats - Dogs who cannot be left at home without supervision outside of a crate (they should be able to be trusted alone in the house.) I am open and honest and will be available for any more information you would like to know! Thanks for considering me to take care of your precious friends.

I cannot recommend Bryanne enough! She was so thoughtful, giving daily updates and sending photos. She took great care of my dog, especially during some scary (for her) moments like thunderstorms and fireworks. Her home and yard are so welcoming, my dog loved both. We will definitely be staying with Bryanne (and her sweet Sadie) again!

I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine, as a priority, and also a good friend. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly.

Information Bryanne S. would like to know about your pet

***FOR NEW CLIENTS: I require booking requests at least a week in advance, preferably two, and always require a quick Meet & Greet at my home with my pets.*** Please keep that in mind when submitting a booking request, and plan to make time ahead of your pet sitting dates. (Last-minute or same day requests are not available for new clients.) Some things I would like to get clear on before taking the charge of caring your pet are: the daily routine, their energy level, social behaviors, personality quirks, main likes and dislikes, how they are on a leash, and any important food or medical needs.

A typical day

I will engage with your dog(s) however you like. Our typical schedule is out to pee first thing in the morning, breakfast, and then a morning walk. During the day we'll rest, play, and have a short mid-day walk, then an evening walk and dinner with more play and snuggles (and treats). I also have plenty of tricks up my sleeve, like longer walks and nearby parks if a car ride is OK or tons of fun in the big backyard if we need to stay close to home. On rainy days, we can practice trick training inside or just snuggle on the couch. My dog and cat also help guests to feel really comfortable and not lonely. Whatever we do, I will tailor our fun to fit your dog's personality and social and physical preferences.
