Pet care experience
Ever since I was at least 7 years old, my family and I would take care of my cousin's small Yorkie. After I got my own pets, a dog, cat, and fish, 8 years ago I have become the unofficial pet sitter for my friends and family. I am the one in my house that primarily takes care of my animals. With my extended family, I have brought the dogs to my house to play with my dog and housesit for a week for a cousin. I have taken care of at least 6 different dogs with complete different personalities. The dogs that I have taken care of range in breed, size, and age. I have also taken care of birds, a parrot and three ducklings. Lastly, I volunteered at an animal shelter in Senior year of high school where I fed, hydrated, and played with cats and dogs.

Anytime I need someone to watch my fur baby, Bryanna is my go to dog sitter! She is incredibly responsible, kind, and trustworthy. I am comfortable leaving my dog with her whether if it’s just for a couple hours or a couple of days as I know my dog will be in great hands. She is flexible and open to work with you regarding your fur baby’s needs, and even takes the time to write a “report card” for long term stays. I can’t express enough how good it feels to leave my fur baby with Bryanna, as I know she will taker her as her own!
Bryanna has taken care of my dog many times and every time I take my dog to her, she’s so excited to be back. She’s extremely trustworthy, loving and just wonderful overall and I would recommend her to any dog owner.

In my home and for other pets, I make sure that the pets have all the necessities as well as time for stimulating play. When taking care of other animals that are not my own, I make sure to follow every step and advice the parent has given me regarding their animals feeding times and items, behavior, and training. The pet's needs becomes my priority when in the means of caring for them. When in a client's home, I will never go into any room that was not mentioned in the caring for the animals. I am always careful to let the parent know if anything does happen or if a room not mentioned was entered for a legitimate reason. Everyone's home is sacred and I will do everything to not disturb any peace.

There are many things that the owners must communicate about their pets before they leave them in my care. First is their meal information which includes: times they eat, how much, what extra pills or supplements added, and where the food is located. I also need to know the behaviors of the dog. Are they food aggressive, active, laid back, aggressive towards other dogs or people, socially anxious, etc? Another important piece of information is what does the dog like to do in their free time at home. What activities do the dogs love to do and hate. I need the information of the house rules and details like, where to leave the key when I leave and the wifi password, etc. Lastly, any important phone numbers I need to contact in case of any emergency.
A typical day
When I watch dogs, I like to see what toys they like playing with most. I play with them out in the yard and mentally with tricks. I enjoy teaching the dogs new tricks to see how fast learners dogs can be. For walks, I like to explore the neighborhoods and see what there is to offer.

Availability
I am currently attending CSU Long Beach full-time and living on the campus dorms. Therefore, I have time between classes for quick drop-ins or dog walks on the weekdays. On the weekends, I am completely free from any pending in-person school work.
