We love our shi zhu mutt and spoil her rotten with beefy munchies. I work from home full-time and Bryan works from home for most of the week too. Dogs are a great reminder to get out of our chair every few hours to walk or play. Gizzy is a senior dog and gets along well with others, but isn't interested in playing. She's never had any issues with other dogs when they come to stay. We're always happy to do a meet and greet before booking, especially if you have any specific care instructions you'd like followed. I worked at a boarding facility for cats and dogs where I cleaned kennels, walked and fed dogs, and of course, played! I also supervised the doggy daycare area. More recently I went through training at a rescue dog organization. I've done other caretaking activities like recreation assistant and volunteer at an assisted living home for the elderly. I frequently babysit/nanny too. I'm perfectly happy to help with other things like watering plants, etc. Like many Coloradoans we both love hiking. If your dog likes to hike too, we'd love to take them with us. Both of us have had or lived with dogs most of our lives. They're my favorite companions! I'll play any game and feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes.
