Beautiful Farm Close to Beach

Pet care experience

We are a family of pet-lovers who live on 10 acre farm, with a half acre fenced back yard, well off the road. We're farm owners and I was a dog trainer. My nearby sister is a veterinarian. The rest of the family likes to love on, play with, and snuggle with our four-legged guests to make them feel at home. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We will feed as requested, though our dogs eat first thing in the morning and again at 5 pm. Will happily communicate with you throughout your absence and follow most requests. My 17 year old son and I will do most of the care. We keep dogs for friends and family so often that we have decided that we should open our homes and hearts to others. Will bathe and train, etc. for additional fees upon request. My youngest son, Griffin, is 17 and has decided to dedicate his life this year to supporting and exercising and playing with our boarding guests. We have two guest-tolerant dogs (a sheltie and a mini-dachshund) and two cats who stay out of the visiting dogs way. Most dogs make friends with both the dogs and the cats by the end of their visit, but we'd prefer non-cat-aggressive types.

It was such a relief to know my Korra was in the best hands. I was sent pictures and videos and they treated her like one of their own!!

Dogs eat twice a day, but I'll do a lunch feeding, too, if necessary. We will also administer medication and supplements. Because our yard is fenced in we let the dogs out at will, but we can also take dogs for walk around the rest of the farm. My youngest will play ball and fetch on the regular. We also prefer that your dog is crate and leash trained, but we are flexible and can work with that situation. We love animals. Life is a little more complicated with them around, but it stinks when they aren't. I grew up riding and training horses, and moved on to dog training for a living in college. Animals are a part of our life.
