Pet care experience
I've been a dog lover for life ever since I owned my beagle Snoopy nearly 30 years ago. For 5+ years I've been a dog sitter for family and friends and worked for dog walking companies. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter for 1.5 years taking dogs outside for walks and playing with them. As a dog walker, I want to make sure I'm mindful of both the dog and owner's needs so everyone feels safe and supported.

Here's how I make sure you and your dog feel safe: • Red Cross' pet first aid training has helped me better understand ways to recognize when extra care is needed. I'll make sure I have your vet's contact info in case anything happens while I'm spending time with your dog. • As a former animal shelter volunteer, I know how important it is for dogs to have time and space when meeting you for the first time. I'll schedule a time with you before taking them out to get better acquainted with them. • During my visit, I'll make sure you get photos and timely updates. I'll keep you in the loop about your dog so you know they're taken care of and if any emergencies arise.

A typical day
I love to go exploring with dogs! It gives both of us a much-needed break and opportunity to get out. When walking them, I like to find open areas and parks where we can both have some space to play and check out the scenery. If you have any guidelines or areas you prefer we stick to, I'll make sure it's a part of our time together.

Availability
I have a full-time job and work a couple of days a week in San Francisco. I work from home most Mondays and Fridays and would love to get away from a computer screen to spend some time with your dog! I'd also love more reasons to get out on the weekends, so let me hang out with your furry friend.
