I’ve cared for my family’s dogs (shih tzus), watched neighbors dogs, and during covid, was a foster mom to dogs of all breeds for a local dog rescue. Our family dog had health problems in his old age, so have experience giving medicine at regular times throughout the day and administering eye drops. Also accustomed to regular grooming for dogs who need it. Also very good about not spoiling dogs, unless their owner wants me to! :)

We were so happy with the care our Hazel received while staying with Brooke! She was happy and content. Brooke even sent us pictures of Hazel relaxing during her stay. It was so nice knowing Hazel was living her best life while we were away.
Brooke is absolutely awesome! She is caring, calm and so sweet! Buddy loved it at her house! He had his favorite spot in front of her sliding glass door where he could relax and watch out the window! She took great care of our him even though he requires a little extra help! He is 13 years old, was abused by a man for the first 6 months of his life, has anxiety and takes 3 medications daily! She did it all! Thank you Brooke!
As a longtime dog owner, Brooke is comfortable and confident caring for pets. She also has a lot of experience fostering dogs and is able to adjust to supporting all animals in a thoughtful and differentiated way based on that particular animal's needs. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but my complex has a dog park that I can bring the dog to if the dog does well in those types of environments. Otherwise, there are tons of great walking trails nearby for us to use. The dog will get a good amount of attention from me in the mornings and evenings. Less during the middle of the weekdays when I’m working, but I will be there in the apartment to provide pets and comfort.

I work full time from home. I have mornings and evenings free for long walks and breaks during the day for shorter ones. I only watch dogs when I have a pretty open schedule so that they get lots of attention!
