Fetch the Best Dog Sitting 🐶

Pet care experience

I want to be honest & up front that I am new to Rover/ dog walking, but growing up around dogs, cats and animals - I have developed a deep love and passion for them. With that said - your pet’s health and wellbeing should always be top of mind. Having the ability communicate well, be reliable and consistent is what you can count on from me. I pride myself on being able to pay attention to the details whether observing unusual behaviors, or situational awareness being able to identify potential hazards and keep your pets safe no matter when or where. As a pet owner myself, I want to know that my animals are safe and happy while I am away. I understand some can be stressed with strangers and knowing that someone takes the time to make them feel at ease, going the extra mile to ensure their comfort makes all the difference. That is the philosophy I carry into this. I’ll treat your pet(s) like I do my own.

Brooke is the sweetest with my two dogs. She takes them on walks and gives them so much love when we are gone. She stays the night with them and gives the snuggles. We love having her dog sit for us!

Brooke is a natural with dogs! My dog Ollie tends to be afraid of new faces but Brooke knew exactly how to calm him down when she met him. Now Ollie looks forward to Brooke walking him! She’s a pro and a very friendly person.

Safety, trust & environment

Hi! Your pet’s care whether in my home or yours is the first priority. We understand the importance of creating a safe, loving environment so you don’t have to worry about anything while you’re away. We want to leave your space and pets better than when we or they come in. Here’s some things we can provide and guarantee through our services: - Open and clear communication before, during or after (depending on your request) - Patience, attention and calm care for your pets especially as change can affect each one differently - Your pets will never be left alone, especially outside. We have a fenced yard, it’s a smaller space and enough for your pets to roam and supervision at ALL TIMES (inside or outside). - Any specific requests or expectations would love to communicate ahead or prior to our first meeting. - We have one cat who hangs out in our main bedroom, this won’t be a problem with your pets as ours is pretty shy in general/ usually keeps to himself. Safety, trust & environment is at the heart of what I do.

Information Brooke Q. would like to know about your pet

Hi! Depending on the service - dog walking, drop in or overnight would love to go over a few things and hear you out if there’s anything I need to know in particular about your pet(s). 1) contact information if something should happen and you need to get a hold of them. 2) Vet information (Name Address phone number) 3) What is the normal routine for the dog? ( When does the dog normally go for a walk? When do they feed the dog [morning, evenings, free feed?] How do they put the dog to bed at night?) 4) How long is the dog normally left alone or how long can you leave the dog alone for? 5) What are the house rules for the dog? ( Is he allowed on the couch? What rooms can he go into?) 6) What kind of commands does the dog know? ( sit, stay, come, off, no) 7) What are some bad habits the dog has and what they do to help fix it? 8) What kind of treats is ok for the dog? Is he allergic to any foods? 9) If you take the dog out for a walk, is there anything that the dog is afraid of or will set him off? 10) Does the dog do anything that only the owner would understand; scratch the arm, whimper, bark , etc? I believe clear communication and expectations is so important before, during and after.

A typical day

I have a small-medium backyard, so I like to play fetch with energetic dogs or just generally let them hang around outside enjoying the sun. I also take dogs on daily walks in the evening, multiple times during the day! I like to play tug-o-war and toss tennis balls around for the dog to fetch for me. A good grooming and cuddling goes a long way too! :)
