Pet care experience
***Books open in September***References in my profile. ***Cat boarding is available, contact for pricing.**I am an experienced professional, I have a full time job and I don't drink or smoke. I grew up on a farm and my extended family professionally trained cattle dogs. I have 5 years experience as a licensed property manager and 4 years experience housesitting and boarding. At present I have an apartment and its a best suited fit for low energy dogs (great Danes and mastiff), small dogs, older dog's and kitty folk are always welcome! I never ever board more than one animal at a time, I have a job, I don't do this for money. Anyone who needs lots of play and a yard would be better with me housesitting. When housesitting, I respect and honor ppls homes, I understand how tuff it can be to have a stranger in your space and I do everything I can to make you feel comfortable. I am looking primarily to make sure this is a good fit for all of us (most importantly your pets!) and I prefer meet and greets prior to bookings for new clients. I admittedly charge a bit more then most as the care and attention your furry family gets while in a home is priceless compared to the stress and potential health risk associated with kenneling. I work with and train bully breeds such as rottis and pitbulls. High energy dogs I can take for runs. I have a special place in my heart for rottis and pit bulls they are so commonly judged and put down so fast with even minor aggression problems, with some consistency I can 100% assist you to help them understand whos alpha and be happy healthy obedient companions. I deeply love and respect animals and have always been an advocate in preventing cruetly and abuse and I understand and value the care and extra attention some rescue dogs may need. I purposely don't book dates back to back as timelines are important and I like to give a bit of flexibility to ppl when they are traveling as a family. Ask my anything you like and never hesitate to text, I value open communication and respect. *****Discounts for extended stays/ puppy rate applies to all animals that are not house trained or require injections/orally administered medication.******
Reviews
Brooke was awesome to deal with. From meet and greet to care of our pets. She even recommended a product to help with my cat who can become stressed and pee outside his litter box.
brooke was great with our dog teddy! she was willing to accommodate our senior dogs specific potty and food needs. she sent plenty of photos of teddy to put our mind at ease and was always super quick to reply. brooke never left him alone for too long and even suggested some new things to try for him! we will definitely book with brooke again!
Brooke is the best dog sitter we've ever had. We trusted her completely and we could tell the dogs loved her. When she moved to a different city we were so sad to lose such a reliable pet sitter. Would recommend highly.
Brooke is awesome, our little guy loved her. We had Brooke drop in for approx 2 months. Always on time and lots of updates via Instagram. Hopefully we get the chance to have her sit for us again. Well worth the money!

Information Brooke P. would like to know about your pet
No. Just if they are socialized or trained first. Any behavior problems that need to be addressed or quirks if the dog was a rescue.
A typical day
Walks/runs at the parks around my place. If its nice out maybe go on a nice hike somewhere. I only go to off leash parks if I am well aquainted with a dog. Doggy daycare - two to three walks a day, food not included. Anything over 8 hours is considered boarding. I also limit to two dogs at a time and I only have one spot open for a second regular client. If you're interested let me know!
