I am a special education teacher in Chicago Public Schools. Along with a passion for kids, I absolutely love animals and have had a dog since I was born. My family and I have had 3 cocker spaniels and now currently have a golden retriever (who sadly does not live with me). I love animals of all sizes and ages and enjoy getting to know them. In addition, I use to volunteer at the animal shelter and have babysat both dogs and cats before. I would absolutely love to meet your furry friend and be a temporary companion for them whenever there is a need, as I would love to be able to have a temporary companion here in the city. I can be provide care for your pet and take responsibility for normal pet owner duties! Please contact me if you are at all interested!

Brooke was a great sitter! Since the very beginning she agreed to take care of our pup and was very communicative to get in conctact with. Then while sitting buzz she sent multiple pictures and updates through the day. Buzz moved his tail happily beside her so we really believe he had a great time. We will definitely ask Brooke to babysit our pup again!!
Our dog Nelly loves boarding with Brooke! Nelly has stayed with Brooke twice, including while we were away on a 10-day trip. It’s clear that Brooke loves dogs and treats them as her own. She also is really communicative and sends regular updates. Highly recommend! Will definitely be booking again :)

The service I will provide for your pet will be nothing short of unconditional love. I currently live in a spacious two bedroom condo with one other (adult) roommate. My condo complex is pet friendly, as many of my neighbors own dogs. On nice days we love to spend time taking long walks and going to the dog park. During not so nice weather we love to cuddle with the pups with sit and play fetch and tug of war inside our condo.

A typical day
I love taking the pups I watch on long walks around the city and to the many dog parks near my condo. If the weather isn’t so nice, fetch down the hallway and tug of war at home is always a go to!

Availability
During the school year I work full time with weekends off. If I am sitting your dog during this time of the year they would have to be okay alone from about 8:00am - 3:30pm. A short walk and bathroom break is always taken before I leave for work with a long walk and bathroom break once I get home. On the weekends my schedule is flexible, some days I am home all day long others are full of plans. This is something that would be communicated upon a request.
