Pet care experience
Before finding Rover, I’ve provided overnight stays, pet check-ins, walks and baths for friends and family. Between helping out others and having my own pets, I’ve gained 7-8 years of experience. These pets have been both dogs and cats, young and old. I’ve also had experience with anxious dogs, including my own.

We have used Brooke several times to watch our pup and have always been very happy. She takes good care of our dog, sending pictures and updates. Our dog recognizes her house now and goes right in to get comfy when we drop her off.
Brooke was great, very flexible and responsive. Made Teddy feel like he was at home, lots of love and attention.

My dog free roams and is crated only if I have to leave for errands and/or appointments. So I can work with a crate routine or if there is no crating I’m also good with that, BUT there has to be a solution for me to contain them if I need to step out! I don’t like the idea of any fur babies being crated if it’s not necessary. I have a fenced yard, but there’s not a lot of space so that’s where walks and a dog park nearby will come in.

•I’m not able to accept dogs that use puppy pads in the home, your pet needs to be fully potty trained for me to be able to board in my home. •How well does your fur baby interact with children ages 0-7 years? I have an infant that’s currently explorative. A 3 year old that’s absolutely obsessed with animals. He’s still learning boundaries with pets, if your dog may not have patience with this, my home is not a good fit! My 6 year old is very calm with dogs and likes to play ball with them. •If they aren’t crate trained, how can I contain them without causing them stress if I need to go out to do quick errands or attend an appointment? •Is there anything special about your pup that I should know?
A typical day
We love to play ball, fetch, and tug, so I’d love to be able to bring your dog along with mine to the dog park, unless you prefer we not. We also enjoy walks and just hanging out on the porch when it’s nice out.

Availability
I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m available just about any time with some notice, sometimes last minute, for boarding. I have the opportunity as well to take the dogs I board for walks if needed/desired and there’s a dog park nearby we could go to as well to get some energy out.
