I have rescued one dog, a chow-retriever, and gained valuable experience in the effort to give him a wonderful life. My experience includes training, daily walks in all weather conditions, medication, special diets, tug-of-war, brushing fluff, playing fetch and giving belly rubs. I have a flexible schedule that allows me freedom during the day to go on walks and make visits. I have a good habit of cleaning paws and drying fur after walks to keep the house clean and prevent the dog from licking dirt or salt off their paws. During walks I like to enforce good habits such as stopping and sitting before crossing the road and healing when a person or another dog walks past. I also bring water with incase the dog needs to rest.
